But hang in there. This chia smoothie is so much more than just a tasty drink. It is packed with natural antioxidants.
& you know that if something is good for your skin, you can count me in.
Antioxidants are major for your skin. Even though it is so easy to buy skin care products with antioxidants, there is nothing better than first feeding your skin from the inside, then from the outside.
So what’s so good about this chia smoothie?
Raspberries are packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. That’s why they are the main ingredient in this smoothie.
Chia seeds will add some fiber, protein, omega 3s and more antioxidants.
Hemp seeds are completely optional, but I like adding a bit more fiber and protein to my smoothie.
For a creamier texture, substitute the water with some almond milk or coconut milk.
HOT PINK CHIA SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups of raspberries
1 handful of strawberries
1 handful of blueberries
1/2 cup of water
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)
1 handful of ice
Everything goes in the blender. Blend well. Enjoy.
