Carrot Mango Smoothie for radiant skin

You know those days when you don’t feel like having a big breakfast. A smoothie is an excellent choice for those days. Light, full of vitamins and a great way to get your daily serving of fruits and veggies.

This carrot mango smoothie has been one of my favorites lately. It’s packed with beta-carotin which is an antioxidant, good for your skin and eyes. It also has lots of potassium, magnesium, and fiber. So really, really good stuff for you.

I’m obsessed with ginger and if I’m making this smoothie for myself, I will add more than 1 tsp of ginger. But many people don’t like the sharp spicy flavor as much. Try the recipe as it is with 1 tsp of ginger and if you want a bit stronger taste, add 1 more the next time you’re making it.

Also, if you like yours super cold, you can add a few cubes of ice. I prefer using frozen fruit instead, and that makes it cold enough for my taste. Besides, it’s not too watery, I like to taste the texture in my smoothie.

Carrot Mango Smoothie Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk

3 small carrots

1 cup frozen mango

1 tsp grated fresh ginger

1 banana

1tbsp fresh lemon juice

pinch of cinnamon

Honey or dates for sweetness (optional)

Put everything in a blender, I use this one. Blend together.
